Green Hydrogen Mission

Green Hydrogen Mission: India's Path to Clean Energy Leadership

The “GREEN HYDROGEN MISSION”, as envisioned by the visionary leadership of India, aims to position India as the global hub for the production, usage, and export of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives. This ambitious initiative is a cornerstone of India’s goal to become ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India) through clean energy, inspiring a global transition to sustainable energy solutions. The mission is expected to significantly decarbonize the economy, reduce reliance on fossil fuel imports, and establish India as a leader in Green Hydrogen technology and markets. For more details, visit the Government of India’s official website.

Launched on August 15, 2021, the National Hydrogen Mission is a nationwide campaign by the Government of India to reduce carbon emissions and promote renewable energy sources, paving the way for a sustainable future.
